I call this " The New Beginning"... I started a new job in a new place. I'm happy to report that its going good so far.. (touchwood) ;)
I live in Lautoka with my parents...(yippee). After a gap of 10 years I have come home to stay. So I am excited. And I work in Yaqara which is between Tavua and Rakiraki. Commuting is hell for me right now. Even after a month of doing it I'm not used to it. I travel an average of 180 km a day. And by traveling I mean - I drive!!!
Old Faithful... ,which is my car, is taking a beating right now. The roads are in bad shape and Cyclone Gene didn't help at all.. Right now I diligently look up the notice on tidal movement before leaving for work or home... At high tides and in heavy downpours the roads get flooded!!. So yeah... I do feel really sorry for my car... She is going for a checkup and I hope that all goes well... I will await the results with bated breath and crossed fingers.
Another problem I face is that I have had to postpone my fitness regime. No more 10000 steps a day challenge, no more workouts.. I'm hoping to revive some sort of workout but till now nothing... :( Hopefully my next post will dwell more on that.
I suddenly realize that this is becoming sad... Well here are some of the perks of my move... I stay with my parents.. Which is great coz I love staying home. I get to eat all my fav foods cooked by the greatest cook in the world. (No wonder I don't have a fitness plan!!!)
My doggies are there for me to play with... and they are really cute. I guess one has to be a dog person to appreciate or really understand what I mean...
No worries and no tensions... and I'm home... Now isn't that great!!!
Just looked out the window and its raining heavily... Gotta check the info. on tides now.... : ) My next post will be on French... everything French....
